I'm Tina Branch. I'm a perinatal mental health advocate, educator, & peer support provider with lived experiences.
I founded Project Motherhood Iowa in 2022 as an online community to offer resources and support to help Black women understand and overcome maternal mental health disorders. Since its establishment, we have grown to become a community resource for Black women and their families, without excluding other races and cultures, providing support, education, and community services for families experiencing loss, infertility, and perinatal mental health.
We are a Black woman led, community-based organization with an online presence that provides services to women, their families & loved ones. We collaborate and network with incredible organizations like Rural Black Doula, Postpartum Support International - Iowa Chapter, Meadowlark Clinic, and Monsoon Asians & Pacific Islanders in Solidarity to provide vital perinatal support and mental health services to the Des Moines, IA metro.
Please join us at our free perinatal peer support group, the 2nd Wednesday of every month, and stay updated with upcoming events by subscribing to our monthly newsletter. Follow our socials to connect and stay informed.
